One of our primary concerns at Home Accommodation is ensuring that all students have a comfortable and safe stay. To this end we have implemented a number of safety strategies. These, of course, include all statutory requirements but we have taken our responsibilities a step further.

Fire Safety in all of our Student Housing
All properties are equipped with fire safety equipment. From smoke detectors to fire extinguishers we make every effort to make sure our properties more than conform to fire safety standards

Electrical and Gas Safety in all our Student Housing
We regurlarly test the gas appliances and electrical wiring in our properties to ensure tenant safety and that everything conforms to the latest safety standards.

Our gas appliances are serviced and tested annually to ensure safe and efficient operation. The CORGI certificate can be found in each property and copies are available to view in our office on Whitham Rd at any time during their stay with us

Out of Hours Emergency Helpline
We have a dedicated emergency number (07796 00 66 66) so that if you have an emergency in your property you can get hold of a member of staff outside of regular office hours.

Burglar Alarms
At Home Accommodation we are aware that theft in student houses is a nationwide problem. This is why we fit burglar alarms as standard to all of our houses. Our staff are always there to help in the event an unfortunate incident that occurs and our out of hours emergency team is just a phone call away.
